In the afternoon of June 20, Liu Yuelun, Secretary and Chairman of the Leading Party Group of Guangzhou Municipal Committee of the CPPCC and this party carried out a research on the development status of Liby Group and made suggestions for further development of the Group. Yu Jianshe, Vice-chairman of the Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, and Ke Zhujun, Vice-chairman and Secretary General participated in the research and were warmly received by President Chen Kaixuan.
First, Chairman Liu Yuelun and his party investigated the construction situation of Guangzhou International Medicine Port. Then, they had a symposium with President Chen Kaixuan in Liby Center and President Chen Kaixuan made an introduction to Liby’s development situation in recent years.After that, Chairman Liu Yuelun said that Liby Group was the first private manufacturing enterprise he surveyed after he took office in the Political Consultative Conference. He praised: “Liby made exciting achievements in recent years and now it is marching towards the massive health industry. Liby has developed a great plan and is determined to build a world-class medicine port, which is consistent with Guangzhou’s goal to build a place of strategic importance of the bio-pharmaceutical industry. I hope that Liby grow stronger and bigger, Liby and the Medicine Port become the first private manufacturing enterprises valued 50 billion and even 100 billion and Medicine port become another miracle of Liby!”
Chairman Liu Yuelun gave clear directions how to build up the massive health industry of Liby and improve its competitive advantages. Besides, he requested the Municipal Committee of the CPPCC Economic Committee to make a research report and submit it to the government for decision reference and graciously expressed that the Municipal Committee of the CPPCC will offer supporting service to the development of Liby Group.
